A Night at the Opera
An elegant evening at First Unity Spiritual Campus, featuring Soprano Cheri Jamison.
Cheri Jamison is an inspiring opera singer whose crystal clear voice has been described as “evoking mystic presence.” Trained at USC’s Thornton School of Music, Cheri sang a tour-de-force role in the one-woman opera, “The Diary of Anne Frank,” with the Long Beach Opera for 7 years, introducing over 15,000 people to opera during that time. Cheri has performed at countless New Thought centers nationwide, three spiritual world headquarters, and with luminary speakers such as Arianna Huffington, Neal Donald Walsch, and Iyanla Vanzant. In Nov 2018, Cheri sang a solo interfaith opera recital at the Parliament of the World’s Religions called, “Anne Frank and Mirabai: Women’s Spiritual Legacy in Opera.” In addition to her singing, Cheri is a leader in the arts, serving as Arts subcommittee chair for Unity’s 2030 Focusing Forward Team and advisory board chair of the Arts Council of Johnson County.
Cheri is a classically trained vocal artist with a gorgeous voice and an extraordinary consciousness. ~David S. Goldberg, Science of Mind Magazine Editor and Publisher
